11、 （方法：將這句話變成肯定句子，然后在變成否定句） There are apples on the apple-tree. -- There are not apples on the apple-tree. 8. 樹上沒有三個蘋果但是有三個風箏。
12、 There are not three apples on the tree, but there are three kites in the tree. 此句要注意蘋果、風箏和樹的不同屬關系，在翻譯時要注意in the tree和on the tree的區(qū)別。

14、 There are not people at home. 此句要注意people實是復數(shù)的問題。
